Hi everyone!

I've built two small scenes from Raiders of the Lost ark and The Last Crusade.

Indy shoots the Cairo swordsman.

Marcus and Sallah in Iskenderun.

Flickr set with two more pictures.

I think your minifigures and idea are spot on! Completely recognizable scenes from the movies!

However, the backgrounds on the scenes don't really remind me of the movie. Tiles make the floor wooden in the first one, so I'd suggest using some non-tiled tan plates instead to make it look more sandy. Also, maybe it's just me, but I don't really remember a white building in the background either.

Great job, though!

Nice little scenes :classic: As soon as I clicked on the pages all I saw was Marcus so it got me interested  Although I agree that maybe the setting isn't the greatest I think that the focus is more on the minifigures and what they're doing  Nice job using the crown as a blood spatter too!

Love the use of the tiara as a bloodsplatter on the swordsmans head, that there is a stroke of genius!

The second vignette is also very fun, I love the way you've positioned the figs and your Sallah is quite good.

I agree with Clone O'Patra however, I don't think the backgrounds quite suit much, change them and the thing is nearly perfection.

The fig's are spot on int the correct positions and look great, btu theat newspaper serves no purpose and is obviouisly not from the Indie series, and seems out of place.

Thanks everyone!

Yeah, I got lazy building the background, but I built them mostly for the figs.

The newspaper is indeed from Spider-Man, but it's the only official Lego newspaper (I think), and Sallah shows the nazi's the 'Egyptian Mail' when they ask for his papers.
The small article on the Lego newspaper is real, by the way. It's almost impossible to read, but it's about Doc Ock's crime spree.

These are very recognizable and I love the first one because it's from the perspective of Indiana. The newspaper may not be from this movie but I like it because I clearly remember Sallah having one and it works well enough for me (plus I'd love to have that particular tile). Anyway it could be a nod to the Spiderman franchise which I also really like.

Very cool and very recognizable! Do you plan on doing any others?

Hello there!

The two stages are excellently set in scene. It would be great to see an entire movie with those lively vignettes. Marcus Brody is shown is his typical unadequate self-confident performance like in the movies. Great! :classic:

Cheers,

Aewsome! Both are good representations of those classic scenes. I did'nt know Doc Ock was terrorizing early 1940s egypt

Thanks! I might do more scenes, also from non-Indiana Jones movies, but since I'm going on vacation tomorrow, they'll have to wait till next year!

Great work on a couple of nice tight scenes.

Those are some nice little scenes, but I have to agree with everybody else on the backgrounds. I think it's funny that Sallah is holding a paper about Doc Oc, and hitting him as well. Was that purely coincidental?

Ha ha, I didn't notice that, no! It wasn't intentional. The Doc Ock face was just perfect for the bad guy, that's why I used it.
