lampuair Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 I am going to continue with the bootleg/clone review. This is by another company named SLUBAN. I believe another member did a review on the police truck earlier. M38-B2000 is an armored personnel carrier and 4x4 truck. Total of 311 pieces. 4 minifigures, various guns (MP5, hand gun, sniper rifle, scope and so on) and some stickers to be applied on the vehicle (not pictured). There is a significant difference between KAZI/ENLIGHTEN and Sluban. The Sluban bricks seems to be of a slightly lower quality. Some bricks with extra edges from spruce to be sanded off. And non of the bricks are printed. With that being said, after some work, it could look quite cool with some designs not found on LEGO. Here goes the pictures. BOXART INSTRUCTION Minifigures I love these 2 swat guys. Very cool helmet and vest. Armored car Side profile Rubber tires Front with I presume bullet proof windshield. 2 opening hatches on top of the vehicle back door opens up with a generous compartment carry 2 or 3 Swat trooper 4x4 truck This is an extra to me as my main intention is just the APC Storage compartment. Unloading SWAT trooper for operation Full set Group shot with the rest of my SWAT from Sluban (to be reviewed at a later date) Quote
Big Cam Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 As most have probably picled up I hate clone sets, but you did do a very nice review, good pictures and you covered all areas. The set looks like its really old. Like an early 90's model. Is it an old set or so they just have outdated designs.? Quote
Peppermint_M Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Ooo, I like that. I missed it in the shops last year. I have the Riot Van and the boat. Nice review Quote

I believe this is an old oxford set. can't find it in oxford website. it is a cool APC to control the rioting bootleg minifigures in my bootleg police town. Quote
