It was a dark time for the Empire. It was foreseen that the Empire’s iron fist ruling was on the verge of collapsing. The Rebellion was getting stronger and stronger while the death Star II – the Empire’s Ultimate Battle Station - was yet being assembled.
To gain aerial combat superiority, the Emperor ordered a new batch of small fighters using the Twin Ion Engine technology, commonly known as TIE. This new breed of fighter is faster than the impressive Interceptor making it the faster fighter of the galaxy, surpassing the speed and velocity of the Rebel A-Wing. It is also much more heavily armed. Furthermore, it proudly displays the Emperor’s crimson color and its first use was for his personal guard. However, the Empire collapsed before this new batch of fighters came into existence. Only one prototype ever came out of the Death Star for testing.
Without further ado, let me present you the unique prototype of the Imperial Tie Escort – code name “ITE-V1”.
Side note: my intention was to stay as close as possible to a set that could be manufactured by TLC, hence its lack of predominant greebles on the wings + cockpit, and the classic Tie shape main body.

And my brickshelf gallery when moderated is here !!!!
