Imperial Command Center

Sorry for the late entry! I finished building this at around September 10th, and now I'm finally posting it for all of you to enjoy!

LEGO S@H "quote":

Command the Imperial army to victory!

As the Galactic Civil War rages on to planet after planet, the Imperial army is controlled inside the Death Star.

Build up your Imperial army with the Imperial™ Command Center, a control post situated in the Death Star, and lead your troops to victory!

  • Includes 2 Stormtroopers™, Sandtrooper™, Imperial Officer™ and a weapons rack!
  • Includes three plasma screens with interchangeable stickers!
  • Power the plasma screens with the generator at the back!
  • Customize the control panels by following the included instructions for over 10 layouts!
  • Clean the radioactive waste with the shovel and trash can!
  • Build your army and add the Rebel Outpost for even more fun!
  • Measures over 6" (15cm) long and 3" (7cm) wide!

It includes exactly 70 pieces (minus the minifigs, of course).

My motivation for building this was that I wanted a "playset" type battle pack instead of a vehicle type one for once. Also, the Imperials are my favorite faction in Star Wars!

I was just watching TV one day in early September, then the thought just came to me.

Most of the parts are from 10186 General Grievous.

I still have two pictures to upload (back and accessories), but I don't have much time right now.

EDIT: Pictures have been added!

Credit goes to ImperialShadows for the Imperial officer torso decal.

You can see higher resolution pictures by clicking "all sizes" on my Flickr page.

Thanks for looking, and good luck to all who enter! :classic:

Very nice ILikePi! :classic: It's great that you included a pauldron and those viewscreens. I had no idea the Empire had submarines though!

Good job!

Nice entry and design. But I would not know what to do with 10 command centers.

Maybe a huge COMMAND Command Center....

Good use of the Indiana Jones face btw.

But what a poor stormtrooper who has to clean up the waste. :cry_sad:

Good luck!

Nice entry ILikePi!

I like some of these little playset that some of our fellows have come up with this year and yours is no exception! It's got the sort of layout where you could arrange 4 in an open circle for a for an large command centre - bet that'd look cool. I like the way you've injected some humour in there with the toxic waste, spade and bin. The little images on the screens are fun too.

Doesn't that Indy head work well everywhere?!

Good luck in the competition!
