I may have to play the game just for the fun of it.  Pretty cool TLG has the instructions has prizes for the game.  Would be neat if they did that for more themes.

Actually it is made from the 2009 sets, so you could just go to your local toy shop. Or even use LEGO Factory.

Anyone like to guess the final piece count ?

I initially thought a couple of hundred, but looking closer it may be double that.

Bricklink would probably be the cheapest place to get the pieces, unless of course you're prepared to cannibalise all your 2009 sets and mix up the pieces in which case I guess it's free !

I'm going to merge this into the topic on the "Quest for R2D2".
And then update the first post to have all 4 books eventually.

Merged as promised.
I've added the link to the first part of the instructions to the first post.

It's a link to a .pdf file.
Don't you have acrobat reader installed?
Plus it's around 3.2 MB in size so depending on your connection it may take some time before you can see it.

Its really cool that you can make this from this years set but I dont want to break mine up just to make it . Im guessing they made this midi scale because it looks way too big for a mini but way to small to be system.

My computer takes in PDFs horribly. I am getting a new one, thank God. It's really, really annoying. I was just able to read the little exclusives instructions, but I couldn't even get the instructions for a battlepack!

Could you/someone please give me one screen shot from the last page on instruction part 2?

There you go people.
All 4 parts of the instructions to make your very own official LEGO Malevolence.

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4

Should be buildable if you've got all 2009 sets, more or less.
