Who goes there? I was going for a sort of realistic, Norman style castle, with defensibility and playability; so I wanted realistically thick walls which made fitting everything into the courtyard a real challenge. But really; such a fun build, I can only urge anyone who hasn't tried working within these space confines already to have a go, it really is interesting. Captain Blackmoor Posted September 1, 2009 Yeah I like it too! It has a nice clean look, however I doubt if that fits with a castle. Perhaps it's a good idea to use dark grey as well, and add more smaller details to the walls. But maybe that's just a matter of taste. Great job, and I hope to see more of you! supertoad64 Posted September 10, 2009 this is really stunning. i love all the wood detailing; it really makes the model stand out! i love the scale too. this is part of a classic-castle.com challenge, right? i love that the scale is more in tune with the way that retail lego sets are. sometimes mocs are just too large and seem empty, but not this one!
