O'er the dales, the great Hawk sails

Down to the dell, like a bolt he fell

In furious pursuit of his prey.

Modularity!

Who goes there?

I was going for a sort of realistic, Norman style castle, with defensibility and playability; so I wanted realistically thick walls which made fitting everything into the courtyard a real challenge. But really; such a fun build, I can only urge anyone who hasn't tried working within these space confines already to have a go, it really is interesting.

Enjoy, Eurobrickers :classic:

I really like the tiled brown part on the back tower. It really looks wooden.

Yeah I like it too! It has a nice clean look, however I doubt if that fits with a castle.

Perhaps it's a good idea to use dark grey as well, and add more smaller details to the walls. But maybe that's just a matter of taste.

Great job, and I hope to see more of you!

Rather impressive; it certainly lokks like a Norman Tower styled castle. Well done. Perhaps you could have added some sort of little catapult or something, simialr to that on the Dwarves mine. Other than that it's a fantastic build :pirate: .

I really like your clean style. I also like it when people add a lot of details onto their castles, but to see this castle was a great change

I'd love to see more of this

edit: I really love all those stairs inside the castle. And the walls. Wow

this is really stunning. i love all the wood detailing; it really makes the model stand out! i love the scale too. this is part of a classic-castle.com challenge, right? i love that the scale is more in tune with the way that retail lego sets are. sometimes mocs are just too large and seem empty, but not this one!
