I'm surprised no one has started a thread, so i thought i would.
The first trailer was released a few days ago, looks like, well JC typical amazing work.

Perhaps you should read again, that thread is about that hentai stuff, and the M night movie.

This is about James Camerons Avatar, 2 very different movies.

JC movie is call Avatar, MNS is called the last air bender.

This has marcus from T4 in it.

In the future, Jake, a paraplegic war veteran, is brought to another planet, Pandora, which is inhabited by the Na'vi, a humanoid race with their own language and culture. Those from Earth find themselves at odds with each other and the local culture. Written by Giorgio_C

Though the animation looks good, the story sounds lame. Don't care for the humannoid designs either. Look like over grown elves. The military vehicles looked cool. Overall nothing to great.

Absolutely no hentai
I don't know if I like the movie yet. Possibly in the future I'll be more interested in it.

Is the NEW Sci-fi movie of the guy who gave us Terminator 1 and 2 so what could go wrong ><!!!! ( ). I am really looking foward to this movie. Everything in it sounds and look awesome in my opinion. The James Cameron filmography is one of the best in the whole industry and they have been working with this one for over 4-5 years so I really expect a masterpiece from it  . The story sounds great to me and CGI is one of the best ones since ROTS. The concept is fresh too so I don“t really see how this movie could be bad at all.

I can't wait to see the movie either, the story sounds good and the trailer was great. On a sidenote I have been trying to make one of the power suits from it. I like how all creatures look too.
Like Legoman and calebexo01, I am also a christian and proud of it.

Just saw the trailer and woah! It looks pretty cool! Everything looks so alien. I like that the storyline is about technologiclly advanced humans invading an a primative alien species. I mean it's almost the first major movie where we (humans) are the alien invaders. The special effects and animation looks incredible especially the aliens :alien: since they are coming up with it from scratch. Very artistic, very awesome looking. I hope it holds up to my expectations.

To a certain extent so are the vulcans, so I really don't see a problem. They might look like that for a certain paticular artistic reason.

I think the natives in this movie look more like the trolls of WoW than like elves(common fantasy version)

New Theatrical Trailer!

Man, this looks really good! :sweet: It's no surprise that James Cameron is behind this masterpiece! I can't wait to see it!

However, after watching that trailer, there is no doubt in my mind that this movie will totally kick the other Avatar movie's butt. :cry_sad: It was pretty clear from the start that this would happen, but I was still hoping it would be the other way around. :sadnew:

Let me say this.

This film is visually changing, it really pushes the boundries of CGI, best I have seen, but the story is utter crap! :hmpf_bad: I mean, as soon as you see the first 3 mins you work out the film.

If your wondering why I saw the film early, I was lucky enough to be invited to a preview with my friend. ( He writes film reviews :classic: ).

It looks incredible. I do agree with the crazy one that the story is easy to figure out but still this movie looks enjoyable and entertaining.
