Well, it seems I've finally been coaxed out of lurking.
Greetings. I am -The Hyphen-

I have a creation I plan on submitting in Category 2, but first I'd like to ask a question.

The rules state:

View PostTheBrickster, on Jul 31 2009, 08:46 PM, said:

Participants must provide one 640x480 picture for each category entered.
For clarification, does this mean at least one picture or only one picture?

Thanks in advance.
Never stop seeking that which seems unattainable.

Hi Hyphen - make sure you share a bit about yourself and train hobby in the Train Tech Registry.
In regard to your question, you may post more than one picture, but only the first image will count toward the contest.

I just like to say that I'm half way there. I have a nice train station in mind, and it's comming along well. The problem is I'm short on cash and very busy with the new school year. But I am doing my best to make my entry as good as possible, and if I'm not in time, I will still finalize it and show it here at the Train Tech forum.

A topic will be created for the entries.  Is your entry ready to go?

If so, you can share your entry under a new topic called:

TTCE: XXXX
- for Train Tech Contest Entry   X = The name of your creation

Hi. This is my first time posting on Eurobricks. I looked through the thread but couldn't find this information. Where do I send/e-mail the picture of my train submission?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Gary, welcome to Eurobricks! Why not start a thread in the "Hello! My Name is..." forum, and share a little about yourself.

To answer your question, just start a new thread in the "Train Tech" forum, titled, "TTCE: XXXX," with a subtitle of, " for Train Tech Contest Entry X". I hope this helps!

Thank you for the information. Now that I've re-read the rules, I see the part that talks about the TTCE for the entries.

Sorry to say this, but shouldn't the CC 72000 PFS by Sgt Shelby be disqualified since it's an old MOC? :sceptic:

For those of you who have entered, I must say that I'm very impressed with the overall quality of the contest entries.  It's great to see so many fantastic creations, and also the new interest in EB Train Tech.  Keep up the excellent building, and I hope to see more of you participating in the Train Tech threads.

Welcome Fonz.  Mentioned in the contest rules:

All entries are to be posted in Train Tech with the following syntax:

TTCE: (name of your creation)
TTCE = Train Tech Contest Entry
Please do not combine entries (for different categories) under one thread.
Images will be posted to an entry thread managed by one of the moderators.

This means you post your entry in Train Tech calling it "TTCE: (name of MOC)".
