84bWell then. most of you people around here probably dont know me. I JUST signed up on eurobricks, but Ive had a fascination for pirates and Legoes long before that recent moment. When school got out for me on June 10th (I'm only thirteen), I began assembling this fifth rate ship of the line (it has 39 cannons, would be 40 but one cannon port is taken up by the anchor line). After two weeks of assembly, and one week of adding the rigging and sails, (I used about 50 meters of twine) well, it was "completed". In my eyes nothing is ever really "completed", Only more or less detailed. But thats my own psychology, and few sailors give a $@?& about psychology, so i'll stop myself before things get ugly. Anyway If you were wondering why I named it the HMS Rochester There's a good reason I named it so. My father served in the navy (US) And was stationed on a nuclear submarine. The name of that submarine was something something Rochester, and thus the name is sacred to me. Enough of my nonsense, time for the pics. do feel free to comment about anything, and I mean (almost) anything
