From what I have seen of the first Clone Wars game from them as well as playing TFU on the Wii, I am not too excited. First of all, the game sounds entirely unoriginal. A Jedi game where you can play co-op and use force powers. Sounds like every other Jedi game out there. The only thing that will be nice is that it will be for PS3 and the 360, which means better graphics than there previous games.
Oh, and actually it is not called KOTOR. The game has been confirmed as just Star Wars: The Old Republic and will be a MMORPG and is set a few hundred years either before or after (can't remember) KOTOR. And even making games for the PS2 is becoming kind of outdated. They end up outsourcing they development to the companies that do the Wii games because both of those have crummy graphics. With better systems like the 360, the PS2 is becoming more and more obsolete. Besides, most new games are only available on the 360 and PS3. Don't mean to drag on here, but the PS3 and 360 have taken over the market for all the good games. The Wii can't support most new good games, so they either just don't have them or try, and fail, to make a version for the Wii, such as COD 5 or TFU.
I don't know, PS3 power and mixing TFU game play with a Co-op game could be good, but then you cant brush it off, its only a rumour.
I mean if you took TFU and used the game play there, like the ability to force push, perhaps other abilities such as mind trick, i would say shield but we haven't seen that from Anakin.
The only thing bothering me, is if it doesn't use TFU game play and DMM, Havik, and Euphoria then it will be a big let down, and i cant see having the filth black saber.
I beg to differ, sony is really pushing the ps2, there is still allot of dev being done for it, plus with the price drop its sure to cut into the wii market for anyone who hasn't got a console yet.
Which is funny because Nintendo killed themselves, originally sony and nintendo were making a cd base "snes", but there was a big split over things and ever since sony has destroyed nintendo.
