Ghost Town Mystery Challenge

Recommended Posts

To make things a little more interesting, I've posted three images as part of the sneak peek to my next mystery, Ghost Town.

If anyone can guess where the background images were taken (not just city/state/country - but specifically), I will offer a $10 Lego set (U.S. value) plus shipping to the 1st person who guesses the correct place. This is not easy and no additional clues will be provided (unless I post subsequent pictures).

Contest ends October 31. If no one guesses correctly, I will not post the correct answer (leaving the answer a mystery).

Ah, a post by Brickster never reveals anything! He really is a man of mystery! ;)

As I have completely no idea, I'm gonna guess that the country is USA, state: Texas? Let's see how things go from here.

Jon.

Let's say three guesses per person just to give you a few chances.

It is in the U.S.

It is not in Texas.

It is not Monument Valley.

It is not the Grand Canyon.

DEATH VALLEY!!!

Its DEATH VALLEY!!!

Or its that rock that's in all those Scifi things.

You know the one, its in Roswell as their ship, and in an original Star Trek ep, AND its in Army of Darkness. AND BILL AND TED's BOGUS JOURNEY!!!

And the winner is no one.

Jipay came the closest with his guess of Red Rock which is approx. one hour's drive from the City of Las Vegas, Nevada. The location is not far from Las Vegas, but not Red Rock.
