No, the Piraka aren't going to be in the U.S. before Christmas. They will be released some time in January, like most of the other first canister set series over the years. :)

GAHH! I'm so confused! What does the try me do on Piraka Hakann's can do, does it make it's eyes glow or somthing? About the Doomtoran...GregF said they'ed come with working weapons, not some stupid cruddy non-working weapons!!! You expect me to get some dumb matoran with no new pieces!! Now I have to re-do my christmas list, constantly print out more and more titans and Piraka pictures! And nobody is reading me posting "Put 4 pirakas and 1 of the titans possibly on your christmas list"!! So I have a good reason to be mad!  

EDIT:Sorry about the overeaction, just mad is all.

Listen, the Titans will not be realised UNTIL JULY! And only some stores have the canister sets before January, but they usually only appear around christmas. Don't expect to get any 2006 sets except Matoran.

New sets are an occasion to celebrate and not to fight !!! Just ask money and wait till january to pick up the sets you prefer !!! Or make a huge list and wait to see what you get  ;)

I like the Piraka, it's good to see more enemies for the Toa who aren't insectiod based for the change (Look at the Bohrak, Bohrak-Kal, Vahki, and Visorak...all insectoid in a way) They look like they've got tons of personality and will probably do good things for the narritive.

As for seeing them in stores...my experience has been that the next year's sets start trickling into stores around the week before Christmas, so asking someone for one as a gift will probably be folly...but haunting Toys R Us and Wal-Mart toy aisles around that time might just turn you up a few  :)

If those are indeed the final packaging, then I wonder what Gregf meant when he said they'd have a play feature. They look just like simple sets holding weapons.
Must still be prototypes.

I think the working weapons for both Bionicle and exo force will be a light up feature using fiber optic cables.  Maybe even some sort of laser.

Jinz, they aren't, nor ever were, prototypes. I think the arms may do something simple, maybe with one wheel or something. They're cool anyhow.

I wouldn't say "cool", but the joints in some of them are crucial to good, large mocs.
And in decent quantity, depending on set.

(I can't believe they reused those awful Bohrok limbs again... uuuuugh).

Well u want to know what i think?

Maybee that ball of dark energy that Axonn holds is one of those marble things that the piraka shoot.

I think Axonn is the good one and brutaka is the bad guy. just becuase his marble is black and red dosn't meen he's bad. Also Axonns colors are red and white witch arent normaly evil colors and that big axe makes him look very herioc. Just look at him He's practicly screaming "im the bigest badest mutha truka around and if u mess with me or my homies the toa i'll ax ya". And look at brutaka he has red eye's. that definately makes him evil.
