legotrainfan Posted October 17, 2008 Wow, this thing is huge! Even a child could sit in the cockpit. But what's really amazing are those big tyres.

CP5670 Posted October 17, 2008 Wow, this thing is huge! Even a child could sit in the cockpit. But what's really amazing are those big tyres. I think those wheels are real. They're probably the only part of the model like that though. I love the concept behind these enlarged models. The designer has done a wonderful job of rendering all the small nooks and crannies of individual bricks, especially the Technic pieces.
Thomas B. Posted October 26, 2008 It was at an exposition in the U.S. and I grabbed one of those large minifigs and ran! The security tackled me though. I seved a year in prison for that! I love to make up stories! I think this Ferrari is awesome! I would sit in it and watch TV!
F0NIX Posted October 26, 2008 I watched when the crew was mounting this at LEGO World Norway 2008. There is a steel frame inside the hole thing. And each part is bolted together with steel bolts. It is just an outer layer of LEGO bricks glued together and to the frame. It was intresting to watch.
JimBee Posted October 27, 2008 Woah, that's huge! Those huge pieces must have been custom molds, and very expensive.
