It looked on the box pics like the monsters were different in each set, but perhaps they are all in the same mold.
I also have the Lego magazine and the monsters look like they don't have opening mouths or moveable legs.
I just wish I knew what was going on in the background on the largest Power Miners set...

My scan didn't get front-page :cry_sad:. Well they have movable arms and mouths, shame the eyes are stickers.

Ah crud, it's LIME and ORANGE, not sand green and red. I knew the colors were probably wrong in the first pictures! And wait - BLUE AND WHITE PILOTS? Okay, I draw the line at that: this is the UGLIEST color scheme I've ever seen in a lego set.

On the plus side, I am liking some of these designs - and there's still a lot of great pieces. I just am not nearly as happy as I hoped I would be. :sadnew:
I'm back, but I'll be posting much less than before my temporary break from Eurobricks.

I really don't like this theme... flashy colours and ugly pieces... but that's only my point of view .

Honestly, I view this theme as a parts pack. Only two, maybe three, of the designs intrigue me at all. The color scheme is so bad, though, that I'll probably just use the sets are parts supplements for MOCs with green or red color schemes (READ: OR).

I still like the drill thing.

i believe kids are gonna love these sets.
they have high playability (remember that the sets combine to build different models)
and the colors are pretty catchy for the kids eyes.

most Afols wont like these as they have huge juniorized pieces and weird colors.

this theme is a great idea but lego cant get it right.
first they make those terrible rock raiders back in the 90s
with dull grey and brown colors

and now they turn it into a circus..

is there no middle way?

personally im very happy lego made this theme...
one less thing to buy in a very expensive year!!

Wow, our first real pic showing a set clearly. I think we can judge the line a bit better now. I'm not particularly excited about the it (that I'm not interested in Agents either may clear up why). Lime green bricks and "racers" parts mixed with technic elements just doesn't interest me, but I'll probably pick up a couple of the smaller sets just to get a few of the minifigs and a monster or two. The loader set (bottom left in the group pic) in particular looks like it could be easily converted into an effective town construction vehicle, for which the lime green would be a fine color.

I really like the monsters and I do like the colour scheme. It's a pretty nice theme. But it looks very weird, in a way. Maybe I'll get a little set, or just one set to get a monster. And if I really like it and if will have the money, maybe I'll get the whole line in my house. O, wait. There's no space anymore.
