Eg. Look HERE for the pic.

Just type the sentence you want the link to appear in, then highlight (left mouseclick and drag) the word or words you want used as the link, click the "Insert Link" button "" and paste the URL you want to link in the space provided.

The result: Here is my link.

You can also link an image the same basic way, just post the image as you would normally and highlight the entire image code including both the opening and closing image tag, click the link button and paste the URL.

I can't remember who had done it, but there used to be a tutorial for using pain.net and another site, for photoshopping your images onto backgrounds. I think it was done by JimButcher but I'm not sure, could someone please help me locate it? I want to put some images on backgrounds for the epic scenes contest.

It's their signature.
Click the roll-bar in your Profile Box (?) in the top right corner and select "My Profile", then click the "Edit my profile" and you can change your signature. It works the same way as a regular post when it comes to adding pics and links.

With the new board software, to insert a YouTube video in a post, just use the "Insert media" button on the post toolbar (the last one on the same line as "Insert link" and "Insert image"), and copy & paste the YouTube url:
