Just type the sentence you want the link to appear in, then highlight (left mouseclick and drag) the word or words you want used as the link, click the "Insert Link" button "Posted Image" and paste the URL you want to link in the space provided.

The result: Here is my link.

You can also link an image the same basic way, just post the image as you would normally and highlight the entire image code including both the opening and closing image tag, click the link button and paste the URL.

Have fun!

I can't remember who had done it, but there used to be a tutorial for using pain.net and another site, for photoshopping your images onto backgrounds.  I think it was done by JimButcher but I'm not sure, could someone please help me locate it?  I want to put some images on backgrounds for the epic scenes contest.

Ok, so you know how people have pics or links on the bottom of their posts every time they post, how do you get those?

It's their signature.
Click the roll-bar in your Profile Box (?) in the top right corner and select "My Profile", then click the "Edit my profile" and you can change your signature. It works the same way as a regular post when it comes to adding pics and links.

With the new board software, to insert a YouTube video in a post, just use the "Insert media" button on the post toolbar (the last one on the same line as "Insert link" and "Insert image"), and copy & paste the YouTube url:

It needs to be moderated. The moderators will make it public after they've reviewed it.

However, this question is best asked in the actual Brickshelf tutorial, not the index of tutorials. Please slow down a bit and learn the site guidelines. I appreciate your enthusiasm and activity, but don't ignore the site's structure please.

Hello,

I would like attach an image, but I've used 68k of my quota - only have 32k left. It's been like that for a while, isn't it supposed to clear itself?

Forgive me if this is in the wrong topic, this looks like the right place.

Thanks.

This is not a mistake, your storage space does not clear.  The small amount every member has is a total storage space.  This is not intended to be used to house multiple pictures, we'd ask that you use an external sure such as flickr.com, or brickshelf.com, or any other number of image hosting sites.

This has ben discussed before if you wanted more info on it.

I did a tutorial on using Picasa as an easy/free/multiplatform tool for editing/fixing/cropping pictures.

Thanks for the reply. I have used deeplinking from external sites before, I just wanted to see if pictures can be uploaded.
Since storage space has been discussed before, perhaps it should be mentioned in the Member Guidelines. It's the first place I looked for info about it, and when I could not find anything, I decided to pose the question.
Thanks again.

How do I post pictures from MOCPages? I have a creation I want to share with an LDD file, but I cant figure out how to post pictures or files. the link is here, but I can't figure this out. I could use Brickshelf, but I hate the site, as it had a link I accidentley clicked on,from which I got a virus. Anyway, could someone help me please?

Click on the picture once so you see the big 800x600 version, right-click on that and open the image in a new tab so you see just the picture on a white background, copy that URL, and paste it between image tags:
