Ok, so I was working on this helmet for the Warlord, and it turned out great. (I also have an awesome sword.. but you will see that later.)
Anyway, while I wait to compile the Warlord, I had this nifty helmet just sitting there, and so of course I had to do SOMETHING with it... :D
This led me to also customize a horse.. my first ever. :D

btw - I am sure there are many ways to portray a valkyrie. In the book I am reading on some of the myths of vikings, they seem to be portrayed as women waiting or summoning the souls of the dead to valhalla.
Now I am not sure where the winged horses, and helmets come into play.. but thats how I always think of them. :

I actually looked around for awhile, because I had an idea floating in my head.. i just needed the right wings.. so I found one on a cheapie yu gi oh figure that was clearanced.. some sort of air sprite thingie.. dont know, dont care.. it was just perfect for slicing and dicing.  ;)
