I've recently been in contact with the editor of The Pirate Shack blog.
The blog has more to do with Pirates in general, but it has heaps of interesting information about pirate history and culture, festivals and other relevant eccentricities.
So check it out!

Great site!
I especially enjoyed the Jack Sparrow/Disney story, as I'm always up for a good behind-the-scenes Disney tale.
Shame they don't offer a link back here.

Shadows is currently appearing as Sheldon "Slash" Wills in the mysterious Red Moon!

Thanks, to you both and everyone in this great community! We do offer a link to classic-pirates.com on our links page. You can get there by clicking "Other Ports'a'Call" on the main page (I'm thinking of adding "(links)" after "Other Ports'a'Call" to make that a little more obvious). Keep up the great work! I love seeing all of the pirate lego creations and I plan on mentioning more on the Pirate Shack in the future!
