So, since this is exactly the kind of thread that is suppossed to be in this forum, I figured I would fire it back up again...after 2 years...

Heard a rumor that the TRU in Niles had Series 8 CMF?  Anyone nearby able to validate that?
Dunno about Niles, but the TRU near me got some in yesterday: http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream

Series 8 CMF have been spotted at LDC and they also have the Green Ninja for all of you Ninjago fans.

Sorry, I was at that store a week before you posted this, but I don't remember seeing them. I go out there about once a month so I'll be sure to look for new things!

Has anyone been to the Water Tower Place Lego Store recently? My wife is going over for a conference tomorrow & maybe popping in for me.

Does it have any exclusives just now?

What's in the build a fig section?

Any grab bags or polybags?

Do they have haunted house & town hall in stock?

Merged into the Chicago area thread. Your best bet would be to give the store a call. Grab bags have been discontinued.

I was at Water Tower Place last weekend and they had just about every current set for sale- Haunted House, B-Wing, Winter Cottage, you name it. This is a good time to get everything you want- holiday shopping down there can be a pain! And don't forget double VIP points all month.

Did you see any exclusive stuff or see what was in the build a fig section?

Yeah, I was there recently...about a month ago.  But things change very quickly at a LEGO Brand Retail store.

Exclusives?  Like what, the Exclusive line?  Yes, of course they do.  They carry all of the modular buildings, the Hainted House, the B-Wing...etc...

Build A Minifig can change weekly depending on how much is bought but until new items are introduced, you really won't see much that's new or never seen before.

Grab Bags have been discontinued at the stores.  Polybags are very rare other than the Brickley or Seasonal themed items.

As for in stock on the Haunted House or Town Hall sets...give them a call.

LEGO Water Tower Place, Chicago, Illinois, USA...312 / 494 - 0760
They open at 11am.

Exclusives as in store exclusives (Such as Minifigs with Chicago on the torso)
