In a set that's being released this year us space nuts can get our hands on new red classic space minifigs! But it looks like the helmet is the new style, but still, new classic space torsos is fantastic!!

Get the feeling I'm a little excited?

:oh:

Sweet! How cool is this? Wonder where it's going to be released, though... :sceptic:
True happiness: looking inside the box to see a perfectly flat instruction manual.

Someone already has them on bricklink, but I'm not paying $30 for it, I'm sure that's way above RRP. Given at least one person has multiple copies, I guess it can't be long before they're widely available.

I like it, but I don't love it. I think they could have gone a lot more iconic for the other selections. Yes, the red classic-space is excellent, but the rest of those? Bleh. I could have given them a much better character assortment for those years, though I guess it will be a big seller anyway.

Can anyone say, "lots of cheap Dr. Jeckylls on Bricklink"?

I just noticed it said "Vol. 1" on the packet so maybe we will get a better assortment with future volumes, an old castle fig would be great and maybea fig from a newer space theme.

I'm hoping the same. I would have loved this if it had been Red space, Knights Procession, a Pirate, a Cowboy, and whatever for 2002, even something like Rock Raiders (was that still going?). Let's hope that vol 2 improves on the concept.

This is a very good mini-fig pack. It seemed to be a collector pack. Think they will be a series of it such as Volume II, III and more, I hope. Maybe, there will be other types of mini-figs too such as Classic Castle, Pirates, Wild West, and etc. :classic:

I don't like that they're using a new helmet on the Classic Spaceman, but it's still cool to have minty new red torsos with fresh gold logos! Isn't the red astronaut the rarest of the Classic astronauts?

It´s a neat set, but no "must have".

My hoping, too.

Actually it's one of the most common, black is the really rare one, probably followed by white.

Interesting set. I might pick up one or two if they're under $10. I don't mind the space guy's helmet as I like the newer helmets much better anyway.

The original classic space lineup came with only red and white, and yellow was added a year later. Black and blue came several years after that and were always pretty rare in comparison.

As others have said, the selection of the other four figures could have been better. The fireman and gas station guy are pretty generic. The Jailbreak Joe and Jekyll figs are not bad though. It might be fun to collect several of the former and create a prison with them.

I want! I have only one of each and I really don't care if they are new or old! (I make a poor collector! )
