SlyOwl Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 And another entry, with lots of quotes >:-) I killed them. I killed them all. They're dead, every single one of them. And not just the men, but the women and the children, too. They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals. I HATE THEM. Farmers, farriers, stable boys. These are no soldiers. Most have seen too many winters! Or too few. Look at them. They're frightened. I can see it in their eyes. And they should be. Three hundred… against ten thousand! They cannot win this fight. They are all going to die! Enjoy! *sweet* Quote
Khorne Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 I love this MOC *sweet* . Too bad some of your white bricks are yellowed, though. I like the inclusion of the movie quotes and the baby X-D . Somehow I always figured the Crown Knights to be kin of evil. Must be because of the daily struggle for survival against the Undead and the Orks. Where does the name Triengard come from BTW? Is it the name of the village? Quote
The Penguin Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Great MOC, SlyOwl! :-) BUT! Is it true what I see?!!!! That warrior is going to kill the small penguin?!!!!! >:-( My Penguin Army is marching to the crownies castle now! >:-) Quote
WhiteFang Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Great MOC! hehe, but why must u used Crownies as the baddies :'-( But this is still a great creation. Like the way you used the white tiles for the snow! Quote
Plural Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 I love this, I think it's theres somthing sinister to it. Just the juxtaposition of the crownies suddenly becoming the bad guys is what I think is wonderful. I also like the way you made the roof using the axels and the simple way you made the fence. The penguin is also brilliantly constructed and looks much better than lego's official version. Finaly I love the expresions on the minifigs' faces. The sheer look of sick enjoyment on the face of the guy whose slitting peglegs throat is a great touch. *sweet* Quote
zero1312 Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 I wasn't expecting this *sweet* but they're going to pay, pay with their lifes what they're doing. >:-) Quote
WarnIcarus Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 It took me a while to realize that was a penguin, I think it looks great though. What an interesting take on a small animal. It looks better than those penguins from the Batman sets. Quote
hollisbrick Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 (edited) great entry! i really like it *wub* and the details like how you used the flower pedal as an arrow *y* EDIT: Im a count yay! Edited March 26, 2008 by hollisbrick Quote
SlyOwl Posted March 26, 2008 Author Posted March 26, 2008 Thanks! Where does the name Triengard come from BTW? Is it the name of the village? Um...I tried to give the MOC a generic name that could stand for either the building or the battle, like my Tirachinas, or DNL's Hrotingas; I don't really know which it refers to. As for the origins of the name, a good ol' gard in there (Northern sounding - hence the ice) and the rest just came from my imagination! What did they do? No taxes! >:-) As for the penguin, it's not actually my design; I think BS member adsilcott came up with it first, although since then it's become quite widely known ;-) Quote
nausicaakro Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 i like very much this moc. All this red blood is fantastic on white snow. It is a realistic scene... crownie goes bad? >:-) fantastic! thanks to share with us. nausicaakro Quote
Sir Dillon Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 A neat looking battle, with lots of cool details. I especially like the patch of dirt, and the fence. The axle roof is pretty cool too... how is the snow attached? I think using Vikings may have been more fitting, but I kind of like seeing a different side to the Crown soldiers. Quote
SlyOwl Posted March 27, 2008 Author Posted March 27, 2008 The axle roof is pretty cool too... how is the snow attached? Balanced *sad* I think using Vikings may have been more fitting, but I kind of like seeing a different side to the Crown soldiers. I've only got one Viking *sing* Quote
