Thanks to the new series from 2005, I've discovered Doctor Who. Now we're up for the fourth new season, the third with David Tennant as the 10th Doctor. I've just started to make my own Doctor Who minifigs. The first result of this can be seen in this post, new creations will follow as I finish them. Feel free to post constructive critisism and perhaps even your own Doctor Who creations!

I've never seen the show. Mainly because I don't have cable and am wading my way through Star Trek: Voyager the Complete Series.

I really like the Doctor with the Sonic Screwdriver. What will you be doing next? Daleks? Cyberman? Those angels from blink? X-O

That Anakin hairpiece looks fantastic! I can't believe how well it works on a head that doesn't look like Christopher Walken! Good job with your Doctor. I'm looking forward to seeing some more (the Tardis perhaps).

Thanks for the comments, everyone!

Cool Daleks, Dr Sinister. They're pretty much minifig scale, aren't they? I think I might borrow some of your techniques... ;-)

Other icons like the TARDIS (phone box and coral interior version) are in the pipeline. My problem with the Ood and to an extent the Cybermen, is that I'm not keen on 'custom' pieces. I try my best on Doctor Who stuff with official LEGO. Of course, some things might just be brickbuildable, so I wouldn't rule out the Ood, Cyberman and other aliens just yet.

The Master versus the Doctor - will the laser or the sonic screwdriver win?

The Master is spot-on! Nice work!

Yes, the Daleks are minifig scale - designed on LEGO Factory - so you can order some if you want - as a result though I was slightly limited on parts.

Note that I shortened the design once they actually arrived...

Ooh, those are some nice figs. I really like the choice of hairpiece. Are you going to do any companions or past Doctors?

And I've built some Doctor Who stuff myself like this Dalek Emperor and the TARDIS console. I also built a Dalek a while back which you can see here.

Wow, very nice. Accurate, recognseable, yet distinctly simple.

And (self-promotion) my Daleks are minifig-scale, if anyone's interested:

Well, alright, Dalek.
Yep, I'm back! Be afraid...
