Wow! Great work Apo (our resident model builder)
It looks really detailed and it looks very good. I like the way Yoda hut is built into the foliage and it sure beats Legos crappy attempt.

Legos crappy attempt

that was my original spirit to make this moc... IMO the hut from the new x-wing-set looks really nice (okay, as long as you don't realise that it hasn't the second half...   )

its the "natural" look of the original hut that inspired me. the use of dark grey, grey, brwon, green and tan... and it came out better than i first thought...

Nice close up shot there showing all the detail. Maybe you could add in a submerged x-wing or even the cave?

Jon.

Very nice hut, it's so much better than the Lego one, plus it blends into the forest great work.

Love the Stargate stuff too, only nine more days until season eight for me.  :)  I'm hoping to find some good pictures on the base because I want to make a playsey of the room, the control area and the meeting room.

No still on topic, we are talking about your Stargate MOC.  :)  I'm in the pre pre biulding it stage, I'm still looking for pictures of it so I can plan it out.  I doubt I have enough pieces, I should have bought a lot of bulk bags when they still had them in old grey.

The hut is nice.  *wink wink, still on topic.*  :D
