Slyowl,

I have made my decision, i'll allow it.
Since you've showed in LDD that it could be invisable used and you did use on off the plates of the same size. However, i will deduct two points of your votes, because it is bending the rules.

Two more weeks mate's, get those entries in!
Why do you need TLC to make sets for you, all you really need is parts...be creative!

I posted my entry. It's not the greatest, but I like it. I even sewed a sail for it. It's also not the best, but it was fun. I also decided it was necessary to taunt Captain Green Hair with my entry. I don't know why, but I did. Enjoy!

It is more of a second nature for me, so in retrospect, yes-taunting Captain Green Hair was probably the best part X-D

Nice floating device Hinky, those sails are abandoned harmonica parts i believe...
I'll send a ship to get you safe to the harbour, with your goodies in my hold :-P

As for entering your contest...you all know i live on the yellow thief and i sleep in between the cannons...
Eat gunpowder and drink rum...so...i wouldn't want to spoil the possibility to win for the others :-P

Errr... is this a one off ruling? In other words, can I replicate one of this pieces from similar pieces so I can do an entry?

You mean you built an entry, without the bowpiece?

I've just completed my Barbary Corsair ship, and I'll post pics tommorrow. I'm pretty pleased with it, although I admit my sails and rigging skills need a bit of work  :-$

If I can somehow obtain the hull piece, and show it used in the hull insert, do I get my 2 votes back? I might just have found a way... That is, assuming I get 2 votes - has anyone ever had negative votes in a competition?
