Thank you for figuring out the date!  :-)

I'll really try to make it, my grandpa is taking a trip to London to visit some friends, but he has no set time. I'll try to get him to go at the end of May.  ;-)

If there is the slightest chance to go, I will be there!
I have to check this tomorrow with my colleagues. It could be a problem that there is no extra day off like this year, so I probably will have to work till friday. :'-(

Like holodoc, 4 days are too much for me. I could attend 3 days max (and the date seems a little bit summerish for me : close to exams, holidays and such)

As it stands, I don't think I'll be able to go again. I really want to. I've starting a savings account to be able to afford this event, but I need to find somewhere to live as my parents seem keen on kicking me out. It means quite severe financial problems. I'm not sure I'll even be able to afford any LEGO for the forseeable future, which is really sad.

BUT, I'll do what I can to go.

Event on!  *y*  :-D

I have to second your request.
This time I will have to fly because of the lack of time.
@Sne: Could you tell me more about the route/airports/airline you are going to travel with? Im not sure about the right combination/connection.

Well if the date is final, then i'll do a quick search at the site of Brussels aeroport, that'll give me all planes from brussels to billund. That's the route i'll be taking: from Antwerp by train to brussels aeroport, and then the plane straight to billund, about an hour i believe. Then i'll arrive at the aeroport where i'm expected to be picked up by some swedes, danes and maybe a frenchman... :-D I'll most likely be taking the cheapest flight available at a decent hour, meaning, i hope to arrive at about 10-11 and leave on sunday at about 18.00. That way, there's enough time to get home at a decent hour. Chances are that i'll take SNBA, the belgian airline, but my guess is that it'll be a plane run by another airline.

I think that would be your best option: get to a german aeroport site, closest to you, get a direct flight to billund. i guess the swedes will come by car , so we can arrange a transport from billund aeroport to the village ( i guess that'll be our place to sleep) . You can fly to Copenhagen first as well, like yoda did last year, and then take the train and bus; or another plane to billund, or you can ask if there's a swede or a dane who's willing to pick you up in his/her car to bring you to the event. In any case, that's a very long trip and you may have to be lucky with the flight to be there at the same time as your driver.

To the Swedes: remember, denmark is very close to Sweden! It is not nessecary to take the boat to Japan first X-D

Let's see:

Drive to Redmond, OR
Fly from the Redmond airport to Seattle of Portland
Fly from Seattle or Portland and land in either Chicago or New York
Land in London or Billund
Drive to Billund

Holy MegaBloks, this is going to be expensive.  :'-(

Why are we starting this a thursday ?? Its hard to get off 2 days you know !!

We should keep it friday to sunday with a possibility of extension for the hardcore eventees with more liberties (each time the events are way too short IMO !!).

Anyhow I'm definitly in like always  >:-)  Ready for a great time like always !!

Event 08 is so ON !!!!!!!!
