There is a video of a speed build here. Not the best quality, but still worth seeing.  *sweet*

Oh man, I don't know where people get the motivation to build like that ...

Sad it's going to be so rough to work with, but I'm still convinced that something is possible, especially if I can find a decent engineer with some starship experience.  ;-)

That model is such a beauty... But it's got such a price, too...  :'-(
Someday, the whole Universe shall bow before my genius... or at least the cat... maybe...

And on for my Brickshelf gallery...

LOL, I am such a slow builder it is going to take me about three weeks to build this thing.  I'm going to take my time and enjoy it because we're not likely to get another set as big and iconic as the Falcon.
So much LEGO, so little time...

didn't get too much from the video... hard to see...

but it seems impossible in my opinion to create an interior without letting the whole thing collaps..

what do you think?

... but I know... once some pics of a real interior will appear, I will kick my behind not to have bought it...

I think we'll see some very creative work from the community, eventually making it possible to carve in a couple of rooms. I expect early efforts to be in the boarding area and the small lounge where Luke practices reaching out to the force.

From what I have been able to see, I intend to try replacing instances of straight technic liftarms with angled ones that move the structure away from the middle and more toward the outside edges, or into areas where it could look more natural. It's hard to explain this, but I have ideas.

We shall have to wait and see. Now go buy one ;-)

I bet it's solid enough and that would be a heck of a way to build some muscle!

Heavy Lifting On! *y*

Yeah! What he said! Whatever it was... *wacko*

On topic, as the months pass, I get more and more antsy for this one to come out, which makes no sense at all since I have nowhere to put it if I open it.

Yeah sorry.  :-$  It was my first Star Wars post  and I thought that "Within the Death Star: The Tie Army Forum" was just for the Tie Army. I realised I was wrong soon after.

Not serious. This gives  a first impression on building. Good find. *y*
