[TC5] 42022 C-Model: Can-Am Style Race Car

Recommended Posts

Here's my discussion thread.

I spent a long time staring at a pile of booklets from all my suitable sets and just couldn't decide on anything. So then I thought I'd buy a current set (always a good excuse) and built something from that. So I chose the 42022 Hot Rod to see what I could do.

So here it is a Can-Am Style Race Car, moderately proud of it and managed to use a good amount of the parts.

Could you raise the engine higher so the aremore prominent? it's a good looking model but for me the engine needs to stand out a bit more.

I wanted only the trumpets to stand proud like on some old can-am style race cars, rather than having the engine sitting proud of the bodywork which would give it a high cog.

Could it be modified ? It would be tricky as the bodywork and side beams all mount off the engine
