Tesco Direct are having a sale. It's Direct, so these may not be in the shops. You'll havt to order them if you want them.

8285 Technic Tow Truck 44.99 (half price!)
7707 Striking Venom 26.22 (25% off)
8271 Technic Wheel Loader 12.97 (save 1, this is the let-down)
Bionicle Titans (Brutaka and Axxon) 7.49 (reduced from 14.96
EF Battle Machines 4.94 (half price, just last years I think)

Interestingly, look at all four pictures for the EF Battle Machines. Some of the stickers look a bit different, and Takeshi's hair is backwards.  *wacko*
Yep, I'm back! Be afraid...

A heads up for those of you in UK and Ireland. The New Argos catalogue has some new sets available from tomorrow.

Irish prices  (in euro)

City Harbour  89.99 (includes toolbox)
RC creator dinosaur 99.99
RC Technic Bulldozer 149.99

The 7898 Heavy Hauler is 'on sale' at 24.99. Yet again we have the misleading advertisement that the Recommended retail price of this set is 51.99 , a saving of 27. Strange that its 24.99 on LS@H.

Mars Mission sets are also in the catalogue with MT101 at 74.99.

There are 3 castle sets in the catalogue also with the castle being 104.99.

Thsi seems to be worldwide, but I am not sure when it became available, so it may not be "news".

Here in the UK, Woolworths has #7998 Heavy Hauler for 17.49, half price. Interestingly, that makes the full price 35, the same as the American price in Dollars ($34.99).

"So, what should the UK price be?"
"Oh, I dunno, just swap the signs..."
Yep, I'm back! Be afraid...

Woolworths website appears to be conducting some sort of sale on some items. It's not in stores though, I know as I went in today.

It might be 25% off, but I can't be bothered to check.

Oh, and to any Bionicle fans, Karzahni is available.

The Glendale California LEGO store just (this morning) received the following:

Technic Bulldozer
Republic Cruiser
Hoth Base

Boy, that was an expensive trip.  However, today only they are giving out 2x loyalty stamps so that softened the blow a little bit.

Note that all next month is 2x loyalty stamps!

My Woolworths yesterday had the Sith Infiltrator in stock for 29.99, 5 off. As pointed out in Vader's thread, the S@H price is 24.99, which is the same as neither price listed above.

Southport Woolies today had the Karzahni offer I posted earlier, now in store. 30, half price.

They also had #8927 Toa Terrain Crawler for 40 reduced from 60. Again, according to S@H 40 is the proper price.

Oh, and the Naboo Starfighter and TIE Crawler are available in each shop respectively.

Yeah, 40 is right, it was in mine too.

Also new in Woolies were #7694 MM MT-31 Trike and #7695 MX-11 Fighter.

And S@H has previously 'Argos only' sets available:
#7699 MT-101 Armoured Drilling Unit
#7092 Skeletons' Prison Carriage
#7093 Skeleton Tower
#7094 King's Castle Siege

All the same price as Argos.

EDIT: And Woolies had 7721 EF Bad Guy Vehicle (yes, it's actually listed as Bad Guy Vehicle) for 34.99
