diabloiij Posted December 12, 2008 hello, seeing that most minifig cape on bricklink are over $1, I don't find the price reasonable for a small piece of cloth. Does anyone know what kind of material are the minifig capes made of? I asked in Joann department store today and they said they don't carry anything like it. If anyone happens to know where I can get some raw material for the capes. It will be much appreciated. If one can tell me on how to make one plus the tools that I will need (hole puncher?) , then it will be even better. Thank you in advance!!

1devils1 Posted December 12, 2008 The problem with making your own capes is freying of materials. From what I've found there are 2 solutions. 1. Use a none frey material PVC etc 2. You can use cotton etc but before cutting it use an anti frey spray.
