So I was thinking....

Maybe we need to have one member who is the official "Welcome" party member who can help new members get their barrings.  Though it is great we have so many people saying hello to our new members, it does sort of clog up the thread with pleasantries.  Anyone want to sign up for this honor?

EDIT: we may even be able to talk DC into a bonus title for being the official welcoming committee.

I don't either- but full quotes followed by "welcome" done by a few members in a row does seem unnecessary.  Plus, it would be nice to have a standard message for those who don't read the first post to know what to check out to get started.  It can be overwhelming I am sure!

I like that we are friendly and welcoming, but we should also do a little better job of keeping the thread readable!

Good, Dobby was always too annoying anyway.

Also I could do that job of greeting since I go on these forums whenever i'm bored(which happens a lot) , but I'm only a relatively new member on GOH.

You do realize that Dobby now is an Avalonian..?

Dobby is one of the newest member and letting some Drow throw Avalonians down the rocks is a big no no!  

I just think that our Drow Master Angeli is a little grumpy now when Dobby is an Avalonian member!

well I was planning on taking photos of my latest build tonight but the weather had a different idea.  Hope to get it shot soon, i am happy with the way it came out, especially as it was my first go at making a modular house with an interior.

Everything.  

I was just joking about joining Nocturnus.  I just think your figure choices are so much fun over there, and they could use a few more really active builders.  I am not going anywhere and jumping ship to a new guild at this stage could be very risky to a member's rep.  We have had members switch guilds early in the guild life cycle, but now it would seem unwise.

Joining Nocturnus isn't all bad. We do have only like 2-3 active members. The dark lands must rise anew!

And actually, since the guilds, especially Avalonia and Nocturnus, are fairly united, you could always build some stuff for both guilds, like outposts in each others land and such. Best of both worlds!
