Week 4 Guerrilla Challenges

Week 4 Guerrilla Challenges

Week 4 Guerrilla Votes:

(hold your horses here, I have to set up the voting threads)

NOTE: I think some are missing, but if there is not a link in the “Category C Thread” I might miss the build! So make sure to record your attacks there. (And your counters please!)

New Challenges:

The following challenges have been made. Anyone may counter these Guerrilla Attacks, but remember each builder can only build one counter build each week, so pick wisely.

If the challenger wins, they will earn 4 additional points.

Each counter is worth 4 points. (This is the last week that the old points values will be used)

Voting will happen after the deadline. The winning side either retains the zone or captures the zone.

If no one counters the challenger’s MOC, then the zone turns over to the challenger’s side, and they only earn 2 points.

Counter builds should have a title with this tag in it: [CG: location, your faction vs the guerrilla's faction]

IE: [CG:J13, U vs DK],

Non Special Due Date: March 29th, anywhere in the world.

CHALLENGERS:

Zone: D8

Challenger: KAI NRG

What Faction can counter: Desert King

Zone: C8

Challenger: Garmadon

What Faction can counter: Desert King

Zone: E2 + E2 (Eastgate, worth 2 VP)

Challenger: Disco86 + Jacob Nion

What Faction can counter: High Council

(Two Counters Required)

(Due Date April 12)

Zone: J14

Challenger: Gideon

What Faction can counter: Ulandus

Zone: D10

Challenger: Elostirion

What Faction can counter: Desert King

Zone: B7

Challenger: Umbra-Manis

What Faction can counter: Ulandus

Zone:J10

Challenger: Adair

What Faction can counter: Ulandus

SPECIAL: This one got a little confusing, so here is what we are going to do. Since there are two builds here, you may pick one build to counter. If Adair Wins both, the challenge is successful and HC takes the square. and he will get 12 personal points (if both builds are contested, 4 in no are contested, 8 if only one is contested and he wins the vote)

Zone: C9

Challenger: Bregir

What Faction can counter: Desert King

Zone: g13

Challenger: MKJoshA

What Faction can Counter: Ulandus

I am French and I do not understand all which takes place on the forum. Consequently it is difficult to me to understand the functioning of such or such thing. That's why I do not think of be able to participate has the civil war of Kaliphilin.... Because, I repeat it I don't understand the functioning of the "challenges" (for example).

Someone can try to help me please ?

I think even us native English speakers are having a bit of trouble! What part is it you don't understand? Since you posted here in the guerrillas, I'll assume that's the complicated part for you. Guerrillas are random attacks made by any team upon any square of any other team. (To be eligible for an attempt at capture you must guerrilla with at least as many MOCs as the square is worth points.) Every week, Ska compiles a list of guerrillas from the previous week. Then the attacked team has one week or two (depending on the point value of the square) to respond (counter). Hopefully that clarified things a bit!

Ok, thanks a lot my friend  .

I've got an other question : Can I make a Guerrilla MOC without my "team" agree ? And with my own soldiers ?

Ok. For example : I'm in the Desert King team, and I would like to attack the zone C8.... It's possible ?

Thanks again for you help.

Yes, you don't need team agreement although its helpful if you want to stage a massive attack. As for the square... C8 is DK. If you were DK, you couldn't attack it. If you happened to be Ulandian though...

Edit: And... C8 has already been attacked last week by Garmadon, so it's off limits this week. Yeah, more complications!

To make it easy, any square that is not yellow or your color (DK is red on the map) can be attacked. If the square is a city, it must be attacked by multiple people.

The J14 attack is wrong. It is by Gideon, not Jacob and Disco

That's what I get for copying and pasting.

I'm a bit confused about the guerrilla's at the moment. Can there no longer be guerrillas for this week or would they just be added if posted say later?

You can.

Remember, only one guerrilla attack (the one you pick the spot for) can count each week. However, you can also make a counter attack against other attackers. In this list, the builders from the DK side could counter the following:

CHALLENGERS:

Zone: D8

Challenger: KAI NRG

What Faction can counter: Desert King

Zone: C8

Challenger: Garmadon

What Faction can counter: Desert King

Zone: D10

Challenger: Elostirion

What Faction can counter: Desert King

And it changes every week.

I knew this would come up... I numbered them ahead of what we were at I think.... This should be referred to as the "WEEK 4 GUERRILLA ATTACK LIST" the GAs listed here are from week 3. The GAs you build this week would be on the week 5 list.

Ok. For example I can fight in B7 ?

Normally, Yes.

But that is Warzone 6, because MassEditor won WZ1 and picked that square. I should be posting that challenge tonight.

Thanks fine if they'd be posted another week. I'll just wait a bit to post it that way it doesn't get pushed back and doesn't complicate things.

Si tu veux, je peux vous aider dans le chat privé ici à EB. Le francais n'est pas mon langue maternel, mais je pense que je peux me debrouillir assez :classic:

(translated): if you want, I can help you in a pm-chat. French is not my first language, but normally it should be sufficent to help you :classic:

@Brick Man Studios: we have a personnel mail group for team Desert King. It seems we just forgot to invite you. Sorry for that. We will change that quickly.

I've added Brick Man Studios now, the reason I waited was because I wasn't sure if Ska was going to actually place him with Ulandus. But since he helped us counter a guerrilla build I guess he really is one of us! Sorry for the delay!
