My first attempts at a brick flick

Recommended Posts

My Character Indie Jones lives in a town called Legolia. He is the main figure in the town. Hence his importance when he is around. The first video is of him touring his town and then blasting off in a space ship. The second video is of him flying in to Legolia and visiting the new Toys-R-Us.

I hope you all enjoy my first attempts at stop motion. I'm a conformist! everyone!

Interesting style. A bit of shaky-cam action/people walking in the background but I think it shows a lot of promise. :classic:

Be careful using that copyright protected music though. You don't want to get a huge fine over a short film you did for fun.

Niceee!!! very good storylines. yet you forgot PATIENCE!!!! lol. i have that too! i want to get a flick done, but i forget to take a lot more pictures, and then its choppy. during a walk, i use 5 pics: one with set feet, one with a slight movement forward, above the next stud, balanced between the studs, and then on the next stud. this is about 1-.5 seconds of a movie, i cant do a big FPS. ill show with the example of pics.

also, make sure stuff is always moving in the background, it looks really bad, from experience, when the cars/trucks/people in the background are frozen for a few seconds, then they move, and you totally forget about them.

if you wanna see some of my work,
