Legonardo Posted December 12, 2014 What does every castle need? Obviously it's a blacksmith. maybe even two. Really depends on how quickly your knights are blunting their swords trying to kill make belief dragons. CCC XII - Castle Building A remake of the classic (is it classic yet?) set http://brickset.com/sets/3739-1/Blacksmith-Shop I tried to keep the character of an angular house, without making it look like its decaying, along with keeping the simple retro feel of the set. Unfortunately it doesn't open up, but I did try and replicate as many features of the house as I could. Theres some things I'd have liked to differently with more time/parts (that stone technique is parts intensive!) but as i'm heading off for about 11 days this month i figured i'm a little rushed for CCC :P One day I may rebuild it better.... maybe... Enjoy! David
Captain Braunsfeld Posted December 12, 2014 Fantastic, I love the way this house comes across at different angles. This is so amazing. You even have so many dark tan bricks that you can waste them for the baseplate One question: Does the beautiful custom door actually open?

WhiteFang Posted December 12, 2014 Outstanding piece of creation. Legonardo, you have certainly outdone yourself. The entire structure look so amazingly detailed with the cornering uneven smoothing.

Slegengr Posted December 12, 2014 Great build, LD! As mentioned, the door, walls, and roof are all superb! My favorite detail is the combination irregular-border base for the build! The insignia over the door is fantastic as well! Keep bringing more amazing builds, LD!
Petric_G Posted December 13, 2014 Great Build! I like the baseplate and of course the rest oh the house. But where is the nice Lady from the original? Brick on & have a good time off-bricking!
Loves Houses Posted December 13, 2014 Wow, I'm amazed at your skill to get this decaying look to normal Lego bricks. Everything about it is soooo cool. The others have already said lots *** Adding to it - its nice to see how the ages-old shutters can be used in such an awesome MOC. Watch it though - the ring wont melt ;-) Whats next? BrickSev Posted December 17, 2014 Impressive! Wow! It's much better than the "classic set" that inspired you! There is such a great attention to details in this MOC ( you built even the smoke) I also like the style of the building. I don't know if you played or even heard of it since it was a video game that hadn't a wide success but the style of the building reminds me of certain building from Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning video game. Congratulations
