AoM Wall Phase Three - Sundown

Recommended Posts

From Sir Friso, Lord of the Falcon Islands, greetings.

I hereby inform and announce unto you that it pleases me to report unto you that the town walls of Falconia are finished. Save for a prospective new gatehouse, my main settlement and its inhabitants are now safely protected from all wouldbe marauders, be they from Nocturnus or anywhere else in these perilous lands.

Some pictures taken at sundown (that is... the quickly failing light in wintry Holland)...

...and the shepperd brings home his flock...

This is a very nice wall section! I like the tower attached to it, it brings a lot to the MOC.

Lovely wall, the hoardings at the top are a great addition  I also like the rubble filling in the middle of the wall.

The tree looks very good as do the shepherd with his flock. Keep these sweet builds coming :classic:

That sentence: "I hereby inform and announce unto you that it pleases me to report unto you that..."and after it comes the content

The milled stone(?) between the two wall layers are clever.

Wow, so much detail, love it! As a couple others have mentioned, I love the filling that is exposed in the wall. That takes a lot of extra work but shows great attention to detail.

Yeah, I know others have said this already, but the history geek in me is SUPER impressed with the rubble-fill in your wall. Great attention to detail, great planning!
