Hi everyone from sw lego collector

Recommended Posts

Hi I,m Justin from sussex in the UK, been collecting sw lego for a few years now after collecting vintage star wars and looking for a cheaper alternative. Which it was,nt but a lot more fun to be had with lego. I,m almost 40 so probably class an an AFOL like most on here. I,ve been concentrating on the small sets misb right from the start and am doing quite well so far. I also prefer the older sets, just like the way they were originally packaged and sometimes simpler sets are more realistic to me. A few weeks ago i bought yellow castle 375 which i,m really pleased with, so i do sometimes detour a little bit.

Will be looking through the chats on here to see what happens and i,m on some star wars forums and one thing bugs me is people joining just to sell their stuff, i,m not one of those people, just a collector looking for likeminded people, regards Justin

Hi yes i do like the small sets misb, i like the packaging and if its mint i like to save them like that. But i do have far more open ones than i could ever display so it,s just nice to have them stored away in case i change my mind and open them.

It all makes sense now lol. I have unopened sets but thats because I ration them and because I hope to move into a new house sometime soon (been a long time coming) and I dont want to move the assembled Lego.

Knowing that I would never open the box would probably kill me though :)

Hi mate i do have some rainy day sets waiting to be opened, space is my problem as i had to give up my display room to my youngest boy and i,ve just got a built in wardrobe with shelves to display my stuff, sounds a bit sad but i have quite a lot on display and they don,t get dusty or discoloured in there, my little place to relax and make space for new ones
