This is the Windfaller. Basically just a BSB done in black with some extras. I tried to keep much of the original BSB style in this MOC simply because it was such a pretty boat *sweet*

take a look

Here's a smaller companion ship i made named the Sea Dancer

This is the Windfaller's modern day counterpart *sweet*

If Doctor Sinister were a pirate - that's the sort of ship he'd go for. I love your sails - what are they made from? They look really thick and well made.

The companion ship is cool - I can picture it being used to take treasure into tiny island inlets whilst the larger ship covers the coastline with its guns.

Awesome...

The sails are made simply of black fabric that i bought at a local art store. I traced the original red and white sails onto them and cut them out. I might replace them with black canvas when i get the chance *sweet*

Ooooh. Nice ship. *y* This is probably the first ship moc I've seen that looks like an actuall sailing ship from long ago. The name "Windfaller" sounds awesome. But why black sails? :S

Very nice indeed!

The two ships look like they go well together!!

The sails are indeed well done.

*y* *y*

Does the smaller ship have a name?

I want to see more of the sterncastle and aft. Even though it is notoriously hard to make out I love the color scheme of mostly black.

They are very nice! The Windfaller looks intimidating, I wouldn't like to meet such a dark ship at night!

Although I'm not a fan of big gun ports on a ship of this size it looks quite good on this one.

Your companion ship is also quite nice.

Btw, we appreciate it if you post pictures wich are a bit smaller, If you don't know how to resize pictures, you should check this tutorial. ;-)

Welcome to the forum!

Well yo ho ho!

This be a fine looking vessel and I particularly like this angle:

I never would have suspected this was a Black Seas Barracuda upon first glance because othose "extras" have taken this MOC beyond a simple recolour to something more unique! *y*

Yay for the endurance of piracy! It's always interesting to the see the literal evolution of a MOC. Nice *y*!
