My 2nd Pirate MOC! *Drumroll* An Island!

This is my 2nd pirate MOC. My first one was a smaller version of the island. It was small and I built it when I was 9, so I destroyed it and rebuilt it making this cooler Island.....Pirate Island! Everything is my design. I didn't steal any ideas from anybody. The only thing that I didn't build is the tree which is from Indiana Jones River Chase and the tent which is from Indiana Jones Jungle Duel. I did MOD the tree little bit, by taking out the net and doing other things. I also decided to MOD the tent by making sleeping bags inside and giving it a floor. I really like this MOC and I plan to keep it for a while.... One of my favorite things are the jungle, the front, and the captains room. Any comments, questions, and constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!

Now this is the story of Pirate Island.....

A long time ago demons(or skeletons) ruled the ocean and this island.....and who had to fight the demons? The knights of course! On the island lived the demons, which is also an explanation for the front of the island.... So they lived there and the knights fought all over the Earth until every demon was killed or it appeared... :pir-skull: So a brave group of knights disovered the island. There were 100 knights. They built the bridge on the island(which you can see in the pictures) and lived there until they discovered a hidden treasue chest...they opened it up and found gold and rubies! That night they heard noises and many skeletons came. That night they packed up and left. 70 knights died on that island fighting.....they hid the chest and left the island hoping nobody would return.....2,000 years later a group of Pirates discoverd the island. They were suprised at the spookyness of the front of the island. They were very pleased with the fact that there was already a bridge.....they set up a camp and later that day the other pirates built a fort for themselves and built a house for the captain..... nobody knew was that indians lived on the island before anybody. They lived there before the knights. Now you are asking yourself how they lived that long, right? The demons put a curse on them letting them live forever, but encapturing them on the island. They still live in the jungle....

You've got some interesting creations but may I recommend a suggestion that may help to get some more responses?

Try out our How to perform a batch image resize Tutorial. Threads with an image or three in their first post usually get more attention than just text links, but bare in mind we prefer the images to be in .JPG format and no larger than 800 x 600 pixels so as not to burden those with slower Internet connections and smaller monitor.

If you want to display many images in the one post then try using thumbnails, we have also have a Creating Clickable Thumbnails Tutorial to teach you how to do that.

Those tutorials should help your MOCs get a few more responses!

That´s a colorful and interesting story and a pretty lively scenery too. I like especially the nice and cozy looking house of

the Captain, and the nifty and scary skeleton newel stairs.

Ok i'll retry the image batch tutorial. I'll tell you if it works later. Thanks for the help!

EDIT: I resized the pictures, but the folder has to be accepted, so NO pictures are showing right now.

No...

You pictures have something wrong with them therefore they aren't being displayed. I suggest you deeplink them.

You'll definitely need pictures otherwise people will not be able to comment on your MOC!

VBBN is right, you should deeplink your images, if you don't know how to do this then refer to our How to Deeplink and Post Images - deeplinking will enable you to post images without having to wait for your Brickshelf folder to be moderated.

I got rid of the pictures because I saved them under JPEG, but when I upload them to brickshelf they change to bmp.

What!?!

Someone should fix this.

We can't be having any threads about MOCs without pictures!

I've added this MOC to the Index of MOC Ships.

I've also placed your B-S pics on CP's photobucket album and i'll be putting these pics in your first post once i post this.

Feel free to add more pics from our album onto your post; those pics aren't going anywhere.

I hope these were the right pictures; it'd be very embarrassing if they aren't.
