[LEGO Train 12 Volts]

Hi everyone,
I really love the Hobby Train set, in particular the electric locomotive n.5.  
My personal revisitation for the 12 volts world require however 3 things   :  
  
1) Rise the height to five bricks, like all the other locomotives  
  
2) Use the classic train doors for a more realistic access of the engine drive  
  
3) The locomotive must have real forward and rear lights

Here you can see the new shape  
  


...for the lights I have glued a brick 1x1 with a Slope Brick Curved 6x1   ...the slope brick has also been perforated   to allow the passage of the light.

It's always neat to see one train from a particular era (in this case for 9V) converted to a different system.  Many are converting stuff like this to Power Functions.  It's great to see it "retro-fitted".

dose anybody have instructions for No.5? really just the front. i have ideas of what its like but would like to see. great engine whoever designed it!

so is this the no.5 model exact? besides your 12v mods and the doors?
