Giant German Steamboat!

Recommended Posts

Well, it's not that complicated, I must admit, but I did spend time on this, and I did use at least 500 bricks. I only used 2 wall pieces and that was because I couldn't find any white bricks to build the quarter room. The very empty quarter room, with no door... So here it is, in all it's glory, with an added Captain, using my personally favorite torso, Sam Sinister's.

The light makes my table look green...

Remember last week I couldn't get any Minifig details with my camera?

Tha back looks a little blocky. And a paddle wheel wouldn't hurt, though with a boat that big you're proboably out of red and black.

But nice work!

Is that from the new indy movie  ?

Very nice, like it :classic: .

It's from... the adventures of "this MOC has nothing to do with Indy Jones, but if I put it in History/Adventure it'd just get moved because it has Indy Soldiers in it" the movie.

Thanks!

Where is the Giant?

He couldn't fit on the ship...

Maybe it's not that big, but it's still at least 500... the bottom is completely covered too, so it's stable.

Nice MOC Legolas. :classic: Although it is a bit plain for my liking, it is quite big and spacious. The only thing you could improve would be the lack of detail, really.

BTW, your photos are much better than they used to be. Are you still using that really old one you hated so much?

Maybe...maybe not...

Heck no! Thanks, I'm still working on my photography though. I've got a couple pictures in here that have white glares on them, and I'm waiting till I get better to post some of my killer MOCs.

Something about this seems incredibly ironic:

I just replied to a thread of yours about a 'Puny Jeep,' and now it is a Giant Steamboat. Anyway, nice MOC.

As far as that movie, I am not sure I've seen that one yet. ( )

Good to hear. That old one was dreadful. How much did you say you paid for it again?

10 years old, $20, and I had picked it up at staples.

Perhaps I should've responded to Captain Green Hair's comment with a picture of the Hagrid minifig on the boat.
