Which Pirate LEGO faction do you support?

We've probably done this before once upon a time but in that case maybe it's time to revive it. I'd like to run a poll so we can vote which fraction is winning the most support from our members. Consider this a declaration of war. X-D

A poll that suggests everyone vote for what they consider themselves:

1. Pirates

2. Soldiers (Blues)

3. Imperial Guards (Reds)

4. Islanders

5. Imperial Armada

An Imperial Soldier... so a blue? Well I don't think the lego fractions are supposed to be representing anyone exactly or they would have done a better job of it. The Reds and Blues are just generic of European empires at the time. And anyway you're from a British colony, what are you doing supporting Napolean, shame on you. It's not like you're in danger of being invaded all the way down there.

Well as lego didn't make any Privateer fractions or for that matter any kind of neutral or merchant set I'd still always consider you a pirate given the options. Some pirates surely had a few ships and were admirals in the losest sense of the word anyway.

It should be but I can't make a poll. Hopefully one of the big wigs around here will notice my thread and put a poll on it. Anyway, let me take this opportunity to welcome you to the forum Brickulator, the more the merrier and certainly if you have a lot to say, we seem to have loads of members but few you'd call active. I know I'm not one of the big wigs here but sure they'll give you the official welcome aboard when they get to it.

Well fortunately this isn't based on the numbers of minifigs as that would be impossible to prove but by the affiliation of our members. I have more pirates than anything and more blues than reds personally but I'm still an Imperial Guard at heart and so far the only one to this thread. I think the Islanders are going to come off the worst here...

I am allmost 50% French, but I love Britiain more, so I can't decide. It's a tie between The Gaurds and the Soldiers.

Well ask yourself whether the blue or red uniforms have to represent France and Britain? Just choose which colour you preffer, afterall Lego never called them French or British and that's what this poll is about - what Lego created not what we interpret.

X-D You're right, but I always think of them as real nations. In actual fact, I like the colour red better than blue, but I think blue looks better on the soldiers. Although I do like them both very much *sweet*
