Darkdragon Posted April 27, 2012 Here's my second attempt at a "Grey". I think this one worked out well and there was no cutting or gluing! The legs are hard to get ahold of though, that's the only bad thing - and I don't think droid legs would look good at all. I will be replacing the silver clip for a LBG clip when I get home (have to open a set to fish it out). I'll be replacing one of the arms with the turned version (90 degree) as soon as i get a copy of the set that has it C&C Welcome. Gun Beats Sword Just to show that it has a lot of articulation. SilentMode Posted April 27, 2012 Excellent use of the parts to make a more stylised alien! I wouldn't have thought of using that pin for the head, for one, and I wasn't around when those legs were in circulation. Just out of curiosity, how does it look next to a minidoll? Dannylonglegs Posted April 27, 2012 Did you have to paint the legs? ~Insectoid Aristocrat
Darkdragon Posted April 27, 2012 Did you have to paint the legs? No, then it wouldn't be purist. They are available on Bricklink in LBG (unless everyone buys them).

Wardancer Posted April 28, 2012 Very good! Is borders on the organic and the technological and this works very, very well. And still posable! There is one free stud on the torso, maybe you can experiment with putting something on there, a decorated 1x1 tile or something.
The Blue Brick Posted April 28, 2012 Very cool. So were the legs a specially runned part from the factory where they only made a few of. If so, you are very lucky. The whole alien came out great as it appears more skinny and length from an actual mini fig torso and legs.
