Good stuff.

The swords I think are really an innovation, I cannot think of any other custom swords with that channel for blood. Very nice.

The helmet I like, too. It is visually compatible with some other viking helmet on the market. BWs one is better in that respect that it reaches down to the neck. The others leave the neck bare, which exposes a bold neck and looks awkward. Personally, I would have enjoyed a version without holes for horns, too, for regular soldiers.

The axe looks fine as well.

The shield I feel has a tough competition with the printed official ones.

Awesome stuff. I love Vikings, and this is just perfect for my army.

That's why I asked you guys for painting tips

They are very nicely made, but I have never seen a Viking in a helmet or armor like that

I've placed an order for the helmet, armour, axe and shield. I already have some BW horns. I intend to MOC a nordic-inspired evil dwarf. :classic:

A fuller, the groove along the length of some sword blades, is for lightness and rigidity, not blood.

I see, I looked it up. The German word Blutrinne (blood channel) that is used for this part of a sword mislead me. The Wikipedia article explicitely states that is is not for blood, as you say.

Still, evil minifigs will use if for drawing blood.
