Elostirion Posted February 24, 2015 I bought the ship from the new elves set and put it into a little environment to display in the living room. Here are some pictures.

Bricksnaps Posted February 24, 2015 Very good! It's a great ship...I think we may take your idea and do something similar. Cheers

Master_Data Posted February 25, 2015 (edited) That's a really neat little display! Keep up the good work!Do you have any displays for the other sets? Edited February 25, 2015 by Master_Data
Iria Posted February 25, 2015 Beautiful display! The way you created the water almost looks like the ship and dolphin are set in resin on holographic paper. The unicorn captaining the ship is a funny addition.
Elostirion Posted February 26, 2015 (edited) Thanks so much for the positive responses, glad to hear you like it. Do you have any displays for the other sets? I have two more elves sets here, maybe I will setup a display for one of those as well. If so pictures will follow. Velouria Posted March 19, 2015 (edited) All aboard the good ship Adventure! Love the sparkly bits, the unicorn, the anthropologist on shore (made a long and dangerous journey to study the elusive Elves, no doubt!), and all the other animals! I really liked the build of this ship, took me quite a lot of time, surprisingly complicated, especially the bow. And I like that it has "swords". At least that's what we call these in Dutch- I haven't been able to find an English word for these movable steering devices. They are common on older Dutch sailing ships, and make perfect sense from a nautical point. *edit* it's called a leeboard!
