Looks like it has at least 3 pneumatic cylinders, 2 large and a smaller one for the bucket or dozer blade, as there is 3 valves in the back. maybe a PF compressor too ?

Sweet, pneumatics. Height adjustable cabin. Is it motorized pump or good old hand air pump? Hard to tell from picture.

Swank. Impressive features for a non-flagship. I wonder if they have the 1x11 cylinders?

Really hard. For the suggested retail price of 70 pounds I want to doubt this will have PF (also not on the box), but where is that handpump. I want to say right behind the cabin I see something that could be the top of a handpump, before the bevelgear sticking out?

From looking at the picture I think the LBG pieces in the pack are the pneumatic switches, the exhaust pipe seems to be the steering and there is a 20T gear in the back which is a mystery.

It's a shame they never do really suprising things with the pneumatics.

So what you expect them to do? breaking some laws of psychics? :sceptic:

Manual pump behind the cabin. Steering on the cog at the rear of the chassis. Rotation (slew) from the exhaust stack. Manual raise/lower of the dozer blade, on a latching mechanism. 3 pneumatic cylinders for boom / bucket. Dunno how cab lifts...

The model from this volvo ,they are using it for filling containers, that's why the cabin can lift up ,this model has no bucket for digging

It looks like there's a clamshell bucket in front if you look on the left of the image part of it is visible.

worm gear attached to back of linkage behind cabin, that's what the 12z gear on top is for.

Where have you got this picture? Are there some new videos about new sets?

This picture was cropped by me from this picture. But I'll repeat my question also here - why does it has those orange parts? I guess the real VOLVO doesn't has them.

I suspect the 20T will be for steering, and the Exhaust will be for slewing. It's a simple construction.

I look forward to getting this set.

You might be able to use the cabin cylinder too make a three piece boom.

In this picture you can clearly see that you can lift up the cabin ... or maybe I'm wrong.

Can't wait for a demonstration video!

I agree that the orange parts are weird, they better been yellow. But I still like this compact model with a lot of functionality.

No but most of the time it lifts an arm or some kind of excavator. But for example the pneumatic armextender in 42008. I thought that was a nice new way of using pneumatics.

But you can use pneumatics to lift parts of a model, or turn something.

Just sayin they have been pretty straight forward with the pneumatics.

It is kind of amazing that this amazing model is the SMALL model from 2H02016! The Technic product offerings have really started to gravitate toward the adult market. Thanks LEGO!

Ah finally a 2H set i'm not interested in. Unfortunately the biggest once are the once i want. :cry_sad: Anyways a good looking set which would certainly be a good source of those new pneumatic pieces. Too bad it has a grabber instead of a bucket. But i guess they ran out of buckets after using it on another set.

Cabin lifts on the 12t knob wheel, connected to a 24t gear, probably via a worm. I was wrong about the 12t controlling slew, it's probably a manual (HOG) slew, that's more playable imho than a geared slew.

Dokludi will probably have this replicated by Friday, it looks simple (in a nice way) :classic:
