The Black Brunswickers

Recommended Posts

These are some of my new custom figs. The Brunswick regiments who fought during the Napoleonic wars had quite a cool uniform with the deaths head badges on their shakos and black horsehair plumes. They got the nickname the Black Legion. They fought under wellington at Waterloo as part of the anglo-allied army. Im looking at making some more of these smaller German state soldiers from this time.

The first thing I saw was the big happy smile of the officer at the right! I don't really think that fits with a regiment of death like this. :pir-tongue:

Of course the decals are very nice, and the work on the shako's is even better! I love how the plume and the skull turned out.

I admit you've scared my French troops with this...

But ah, it are only 4 men, for now... :pir-grin:

...but I didn't know this type of headgear was so old!

A good way to defeat the enemy is just to scare the ** out of them :pir_laugh2:

The bayonets look also very nice
