Anthony12901 Posted April 11, 2016 Nice. How'd you connect the shadow trap halves?
Aethersprite Posted April 12, 2016 That's incredible. I love the lower jaw! When I first looked at it I assumed that you'd use the shadow trap halves for the mouth; I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that you didn't.
DuckBricks Posted April 12, 2016 Nice. How'd you connect the shadow trap halves? Looks like he attached them to the Gen1 hands. Anyways, stunning MOC, and even cooler that you made it in two days! What I want to know is how that Zamor sphere stays in there... :)
Kalhiki Posted April 12, 2016 Very cool, indeed. Really like the Takadox heads on the thighs. Nice shaping! One thing I'm not sure about are the arms. They look a little out of place alongside the primarily CCBS build of the rest of the model. I feel like if you just used small CCBS bones, it'd be more effective. Otherwise I really like it. A big, chunky, mechanical T-Rex.
Tremah Posted April 12, 2016 Thank you all! That's incredible. I love the lower jaw! When I first looked at it I assumed that you'd use the shadow trap halves for the mouth; I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that you didn't. Well, that's overused already. I've seen a lot of decent creations which used trap pieces this way. Decided to try something new. Looks like he attached them to the Gen1 hands. Anyways, stunning MOC, and even cooler that you made it in two days! What I want to know is how that Zamor sphere stays in there... :) Yep, you're right. Zamor is connected to the cattle horn piece. Seen this technique on some tablescrap photos on flickr. Tried to go with it. One thing I'm not sure about are the arms. They look a little out of place alongside the primarily CCBS build of the rest of the model. I feel like if you just used small CCBS bones, it'd be more effective. I guess you're right. Although I like fusion between G1 and CCBS, in this build G2 prevails. Won't happen next time!
