Well there may be more added to this thread as time goes on, depending on who requests them etc but in the meantime I've offered Lord of Pies his own personal flag for helping me out with the original measurements in the beginning.

You certainly can...  I've watched all the Sharpe episodes but can't remember much in the way of regimental flags.  Was there a specific design or flag used in the series that you want me to try render or is it a case of designing something totally from scratch but with a British feeling to it?

Thanks Col. Whipstick, I am absolutely adore the flag you made for me!! It is much better than anything I could do, the pie is very well done! I have already used it and will post pics later!


And please note these flags are made so they fit when pasted on to MS word.

I wasn't expecting anything from Sharpe. I've watched all of them and read ALL the books as well. In fact, I keep meaning to make a scene based on one of the covers.
Personally, I was thinking of something a bit different. Maybe a red or Blue with some sort of fish of shellfish on it, or a boat. When I say its the South Essex, it really is, the South of Essex, as I LIVE here in South Essex!

I'd love a personal flag, but I don't know anything wich really characterizes me..

If you would oblidge, I'd like a flag. A combination of a French flag, German Flag, and English flag (Three nationalities I hold ties too.) With a Crown in the center, and gold 'N's on both sides of the crown and gold edging. Maybe some sort of qoute underneath the crown.

If you can't do this, please supply some suggestions as to what may be done.

Okay folks, I'm back from Oxford and have the time so I've taken into account everyone's requests and will get started asap.

First in line - Sir Norman Ray, then I'll think of something for you Norrington, there are many symbols that unite European countries.  Mr Tiber, I have done and will be posting Dutch VOC flags shortly along with British East India Co. ones.  We will have to think of something for you.  I also have a request from Tiny Pies for specific pirate flags so I'm backed up with orders.

Amusing but a little too late... Here is the flag, all finished for you Sir Norman Ray.  I had many different ideas about where to go with the design and colour but opted for this design which A - Includes the 3 swords on the Arms of Essex as well as the shell you requested.  I ended up using a sort of compounded red and blue which gives the flag a strongly British feel though with some little effort I can remove say the blue for a kind of canvass or something else.  Anyway hope you're satisfied, took a couple hours to do.

Okay, here we go - Norrington's flag.  Easily the most confusing given the amount of stuff you wanted on it but I think I've managed to make some compromising details into the design.



For a start... England/Britain, France and Germany is impossible to present on a single flag with all the other stuff so I resorted to symbolism, given I wasn't sure if it was England or Britain you wanted I've provided the British Lion which is more an imperial symbol than the Rose of England anyway, also the fleur-de-les for France and the Iron Cross for Germany though that might really be a bit more Prussian.  I didn't want too many colours going into the flag which would have been the case as you wanted gold and then the red, blue, white, black and yellow of the French, British and German flags would have been overkill.  Red, whilst the common denominator was too rich for the gold and Norrington tends to wear a blue uniform so I thought I'd keep it blue for that reason, it should match the blue imperial lego uniforms nicely.

If you're not happy with some of the colouring I can change that easily enough.

Hello Bluedog and welcome to the forum.  I see you are very new to Eurobricks.  I'll look into a flag for you though I'm fairly busy at the moment.  To get the exact image of that dog I'll need a link where I can source the picture to see if it will resize properly, else we'll have to think up something else.  So if you can get onto that I'll have something to work with.

Well what you asked for would probably be easy enough to sort out though the description makes me wonder if you've been drinking from the toilet again Phred, you do realise that lemon fresh bleach isn't really meant for human consumption.  Then again, as you are a Pirate cuccumber (never thought I'd ever put those two words together) it probably isn't a problem for you.  I admit your avatar has more than confused me but the description you've asked for is easy enough so I'll go ahead.
