I re-read the short story today and decided to make a MOC of a rotorman with his rotor. They keep the veins of America rolling, taking people and goods to their destination on massive belts. Eilif Posted May 11, 2009 (edited) Nice Job. This is one of my favorite sci-fi stories ever. I read the entire future-history a few years ago, and this was one of the stand out parts of that "series". Based on the title, I was hoping to see more road, but I like that your MOC focuses on a more specific part of the mechanics of the rolling road, and a part that is more essential to the story. Peppermint_M Posted May 11, 2009 I tried a bit of road above it, but it looked a bit naff. I might make a change or two, add a level of workings and some black baseplates with your typical Eagle Land types "riding" it. This was just a quick build while I had a picture in my head of what I wanted. I'm glad I'm not the only one to have read the story, most others know of different books but not the short stories.
