Tordenskjold Posted September 5, 2008 Military 12a Just made a sort of alterative to the warning from POTC . have seen some lego versions of the body's hanging and the warning sign. so i made a small rock/island where the gallow, and heads of the dead pirates will warn other against piracy. does this sucks 100% or is this something i should try to make with real lego? i used the traitors gate from the Tower of London as a inspiration. boats are coming to the brown pier where the guard and the officer waits. and then is taken up to the gallow where the hangman show them his "hobby" This is a WIP in mlcad , but i like this, and hope ill get a chanse to build this for real. But i see it this way, who wants to make a very very fine gallow, when just a tree is good enough. i also been thinking of adding a block where the funny hang man could try his axe on the pirates. Sounds like a very bloody idea.. I like it You right about the gallow, but I still think it looks wierd. even if you didn't want to make a big deal out of it, the soldiers do better than that when the pirates are to be hanged in it. Captain Zuloo Posted September 6, 2008 Well, the gallows is terrible, but hey! At least you are admitting it. If I were you, I would have a look at the first POTC and pause when you get to a good frame of the gallows and build from there. Otherwise, It is very good. I wouldn't worry about the chopping block though. And do something about the hangman! I would like to see this built out of real Lego. Tordenskjold Posted September 6, 2008 i know the hangman is bad. but i dont have better mlcad files. so i hade him as a sort of replacement. tried out a new style for the gallow. better i think. but i need to try our on real lego to se what i end up with Have to go now. someone lost their electric power, and i have to fix it . Tordenskjold Posted February 16, 2009 Hi folks. it take time with me. had some personal problems but now i seen to overcome them. Made a version of the gallow rock now. im missing parts and not qiute sure what more to do with it but here it is as today . And a close up on the last minutes of a unlucky pirate. the Dark man stand by in the background. No one hase seen him without the skeleton mask. On this pic you can see the galow rope clearly mr Zorro This is the Dark Man. nobody know who he is or were he come from. but ever since they started to execute people at Decastio. HE will be there. He take no payment just wearing his mask and doing the job. either with the rope or with the axe. Not even his boat is known. its like he live on this rock.
