I love my fleshies

Recommended Posts

Eight new figs for you all today, which is the most I've ever done in one sitting.

The first five are a faction I created called the Flessians. Basically, their colors are black, white, and silver (same goes for their buildings--little or no grey), and all of them are fleshies.

Flessian footsoldiers

A berserker

Paladin

Their king (No name for him yet, lol)

I had a little extra time, so I built two figs based off of characters from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series.

The gleeman, Thom Merrilin

The warder, Lan

Finally, I've added a long-overdue character to my King of the Hill gallery: Buck Strickland. Fans of the show will know what that money is for. ;-)

No! A fleshtone lover >:-) . You shall be purged and burned at the stake :-P . But your figures sure look nice (apart from the ugly color ;-) ).

I find it's a clever use of the minifig : changing the color of the skin to add new ethnies to your lego world ! I like the king the most. Where does that head comes from ?

Well, to be honest I actually use fleshtones too. They represent are rebels fighting against the Imperial surpressors. Here's a pic :-$ . On a sidenote, what Avatar sets do you have?

No flesh tones for me. Not one. I own some but I will not for long and any I buy are instantly for sale. So for me your first few figs are too ugly to look at. :-X ;-)

However, the second two inspired by WoT are very nice. I really like the look they have.

Now back to my dungeon to finish my boat.

Jipay, the king's head is the Uncle's from Avatar. He is available in both sets, I believe. [definetly Fire Nation Ship]

Ah yes Avatar, it explains why I never saw it, the sets aren't available in Europe at all.

Well, fleshies sure look awesome here, but have you ever tried incorperating them into a city or village? :'-( It's so dang hard!

ya, that is my problem with them... all my other figs are classic yellow. and to incorporate flesh tone just makes a weird mess.

also, if you are going for an official LEGO look, this is not the way. as flesh tone = lisensed property, not original LEGO world.

though, your figs do look awesome here *y* just don't mix them with classic ;-)

Nice fig's eNiGMa! I like the king, great use of that head. And I think fleshies have great uses -they make awesome villains! *y*

Jipay, the king's head is the Uncle's from Avatar

The head is from Avatar but it is not the uncle. LEGO has not produced the Avatar uncle fig as of yet.

Quote from Fire Nation ship on LEGO.com

Set includes Aang the Avatar, Katara, Prince Zuko, Firebender, Fire Nation soldier and more.

That fig we think is the uncle is actually just a soldier. Not that it really matters...

Ok, they're flehies. But remove that and they are quite nice actually. I like your use of the radar dishes with spiral pattern, they make nice shields. I think my favourite is the king, I like his "half evil (black), half white (good) " feel. I like the paladin too, and the warrior, and that berserker with Two Face's head..well, I like them all! Apart from your fleshies, I also like from the Castle section the warder and the Fright Knight shaman (great combination between Killer croc's head and Batman's mask).
