Instructions in a single image

Recommended Posts

For some simple set, only one picture is enough as a building instruction. (flickr original pic size 2048x1536)

Just found LPub version by canon03 for download here (pdf 10 pages), the builds are exactly same. So both of them should be exactly same as the official one.

Are you doing all of the recoloring manually, or do you have a way of automating it?

1) Create groups for every building steps manually. 2) Set camera angle. 3) Hide them all. 4) Use delete tool, one click to delete "bricks" of 1st hidden group in group tab (do NOT delete the group itself). Then undo, only the first group(step) will be unhide. 5)Take screenshot. 6) Use paint tool to recolor the group with just one click. 4.1) Delete 2nd... repeat 4)~6) until finish.

We should find a better title for this topic!

bbqqq, any idea?

Maybe "Instructions in a single image"?

About the image in post #2, maybe a final image in "natural" colours would complete it!

I agree with you Calabar, Please change the topic.

And good idea for "natural" colours for final image of image #2. It not optimize yet, should be higher quality and less steps.

I found another usage of rendering mask technique. To make wash out style instruction.
